Horace Jewelry is a Quebec company that was founded in 2012. It was co-founded by two friends, Alexandra Cloutier-Bernier and Marie-Josée Fleury. When they realized how much everyone was fond of their work they decided, in September 2014, to make their products available online. Since then, both owners have been pursuing their dreams in their Montreal studio where every new idea is developed to offer a product of quality at an affordable price.

Les objectifs étaient de rapprocher les écrivains haïtiens avec le grand public et les éditeurs qui les publient. Devant le grand succès de cet événement, depuis, nous répétons l’événement la 3e semaine du mois d’août, chaque année. La Journée du livre haïtien est un salon du livre qui se déroule durant une journée. Les livres exposés au grand public sont publiés par des auteurs haïtiens ou portant sur la culture haïtienne. Si l’événement se tient en une seule journée, elle n’en requiert pas moins de nombreux préparatifs et de nombreuses réunions du comité organisateur bénévole et des autres bénévoles. Les premières réunions commencent dès le printemps précédant l’événement.
